2024 FALL Baseball Divisions & League Age Assignments

Little League International established the League Age rules. To confirm your player's league age for the Spring/Fall 2024, use Little League's League Age Calculator or the League age chart below.

NOTE: Players must live or attend school within Arlanza's league boundaries. IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY BASED ON ADDRESS OR SCHOOL WAIVER, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED.

If you live within our boundary, you do NOT need to provide any school forms. You can attend one of our document review nights if you do not upload documents now. You will receive an email later with dates/times to provide document verification. We host 3-4 document check nights before the season starts. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEND DOCUMENTS VIA EMAIL OR SEND US ANY WAIVERS. At document check night, you will be asked to provide 3 proofs of residency, one from each group 1-3, and a certified ORIGINAL copy of your child's birth certificate.

Registering based on the school address requires you to upload a school form or turn it in later. You can find the form link below to get your child's school to sign it. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PRESCHOOL OR HOMESCHOOL FORMS. You must attend a school in our district. You can upload the form or email [email protected]

Cash/ ApplePay/Credit/debit card payment is available during checkout.

Payment Plans are also available - a $50 deposit is required to place a uniform order. The remaining balance must be paid before the player will receive their jersey at the start of the season unless another written and signed agreement has been made between the Board of Directors and the payee.

Recommended - Players to move NO MORE THAN 1 division up from last season played.

WAITLIST - if you see a division under the waitlist and would like your child to play there, be sure to join the waitlist. We will form more teams if we get enough players on the list.

Fees cover the cost of the player's jersey, hat, equipment, umpire fees; field permits/ time/ maintenance/ lights/ etc.

VOLUNTEER - (Manager, Coach, Team Parent, and Scorekeeper) Don’t forget to register yourself also!

SPRING SEASON ONLY - All players aged 7-12 are expected to attend player evaluations. This allows managers to evaluate players and make sure they are drafted in a division appropriate for their skill level. All teams are formed via the draft, and players may be drafted into ANY age-qualifying division, which may differ from the division the player is registered for. We will hold tryouts/player evaluations around mid-January before the season, and practices will begin at the end of January/beginning of February. Please watch your email for further details.

Intro to team sport, essential skill development (throwing, fielding, batting, sportsmanship). 6-year-olds will be placed in T-ball ONLY if they have no baseball experience.

 

Intro to baseball rules (runs, outs, positions), overall skill development. Coach Pitch. 6-year-old players are eligible with 1 season of T-Ball. The second half of the season will include an intro to player pitch, overall and positional skill development, and additional baseball rule development (base running, situational plays).

Positional Skill and baseball rule development, game strategy. Recommended at least 1 season of player pitch for 8-year-old players.

12-year-old players must play in this division. Experienced 9- and 10-year-old players are eligible for this division.

 

* Note: 9–11-year-old players registered for Majors are not guaranteed placement. All players under 12 years old must be drafted to Majors.

League-age 11-13 with postseason tournament opportunities, including a World Series, offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths).

 

Regular season players in the Little League Intermediate 50/70 Baseball Division can dually roster, meaning he/she can play in the Little League Major Baseball Division during the same season. Achieving tournament eligibility is possible in either division, but a player must choose one division of play to participate in during the tournament season.
